ROSEMARY SCHOOL NEWS

DEAR PARENTS AND STUDENTS:  Welcome Back!  This is your weekly folder.  Folders are sent home every Monday and will include a newsletter, information, forms and schedules.  Please plan to read the newsletter, sign all forms and return them to school in the folder the following school day.  If you would like to include something in the newsletter or weekly folder, please submit it to the school office no later than Friday.   
 

In keeping with the Northern Ozaukee School schedule, Rosemary School will again have early release day every Wednesday at 1:38pm starting tomorrow – Sept. 3rd.  Extended Day will be available at that time to registered students. 
 

HOT LUNCH: Tue. Sept 2  Cheese Pizza   

            Wed. Sept 3  Crispy Chicken with bun  

            Thur. Sept 4  Salisbury Steak   

            Fri. Sept 5  Hamburger with bun  

REMINDER – The milk fee will be $20.00 per child for the school year.  Payment is due in the school office this week.   Hot lunch order forms for the month of Sept. are being returned to you in your folder for your convenience.

 

FIRST FRIDAY MASS: Students in grades K5 thru 6 will attend First Friday Mass on Friday Sept. 5.  Please have them dressed appropriately.  They may bring an extra set of clothes to change into after Mass which begins at 8:00am.  This will also be the beginning of our monthly First Friday Food Pantry Collection.  Please feel free to join us and bring in your non-perishable food donations or send it to school with your child.  Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 9th the students will again attend Mass every Tuesday at 8:00am.    
 

CELEBRATE FREDONIA: Come one, come all to join Rosemary School families in the Celebrate Fredonia Parade to represent Rosemary School.  The parade will be this Sat. Sept 6th.  Any RMS kids who would like to be in the parade should meet at 11 am in the Fox Glen Subdivision.  Kids should wear their RMS attire or blue and white.  They will walk the parade route handing out flyers and candy.

 

THE BOOKMOBILE will again be coming to our school every other Tuesday starting Sept. 9. 
 

TO HONOR PATRIOT DAY, we would like the children to wear red, white and blue on Thur., Sept. 11th. 
 

EDUCATION COMMITTEE MEETING

  Monday, Sept. 8th at 7:00pm in the Parish Center 
 

HOME AND SCHOOL MEETING:  Tuesday, Sept. 16th at 7:00pm in the Rosemary School cafeteria downstairs.  All parents are asked to attend this informative meeting and sign up for our fundraisers.  New families are asked to arrive at 6:30pm. 
 

STUDENT IMMUNIZATION RECORD CARDS will be sent home in next week’s folders for those that need to be updated and for new students.   
 

“PB&J CHALLENGE”:  Attention all families………..Our Lady of the Lakes Parish & School has again issued a challenge to St. Mary Lake Church and Holy Rosary Parish-Rosemary School to donate jars of peanut butter and jelly for our local food pantry.  PB&J are two of the most needed and hard to come by items for food pantries.  This collection will take place from Sept. 24 thru Oct. 24, 2008.  The winning parish/school will receive a traveling Mr. Peanut trophy that will be used for future challenges.  Rosemary School won this competition in 2006 and Our Lady of the Lakes won it in 2007.  Let’s win back that trophy for Rosemary School!
